Ticker shortlisted for prestigious British Insurance Awards

Just a week after our last shortlist spot in the British Insurance Technology Awards, we’re now shortlisted for a British Insurance Award in the category ‘Managing General Agent of the Year’.

The British Insurance Awards are the most prestigious awards in the industry. Our entry laid out Ticker’s incredible growth story over the last five years, so it’s a very important honour to be considered for.

MGAs entering had to show:

• Profitable growth and customer retention
• Staff progression and promotion of professionalism
• Innovation whether in product/scheme development; marketing; and/or utilisation of technology/digital channels
• Examples of new initiatives aligned with the MGA’s strategic and business goals

Ticker board member Sam Evans (founding partner of EOS Venture Partners), said in support of our entry: “Ticker is a rare breed, able to combine excellent top line growth with market-leading loss ratios. The ability of the team to grow the business to £107m of premium in 2023 despite challenging market conditions – whilst delivering a loss ratio that is the envy of their peers – is a huge credit.”
